Wall cabinet fridges: Precision Refrigeration helps chefs put a quart into a pint pot

Precision wall mounted fridgeAs kitchen space gets ever more pressurised, chefs are looking for innovative ways to fit their quarts into pint pots. Now British manufacturer Precision has launched new versions of its wall cabinet range of fridges. They increase storage space without having any impact on the kitchen footprint – because they make use of ‘dead’ space, on the wall.

The latest versions feature Precision’s new oversized digital display, for easy monitoring and precise temperature control, a stylish new grill that delivers better airflow, flush door handles, and the new iCool Controller. This not only adjusts performance to minimise energy use, but also learns how the operator works to predict usage and ensure the refrigeration system runs as efficiently as possible.

Constructed of stainless steel throughout, the wall cabinets are available in one, two and three section versions, with capacities of from 150 to 450 litres. They can be supplied with integral refrigeration or connected to remote systems. Doors can be either solid or glass and all models accept GN 1/1 trays and shelves.

The specifier can choose whether the refrigeration system is fitted to left or right of the cabinets. The ingenious airflow duct system maintains even temperature throughout, regardless of product loading. The wall cabinets are designed to work in ambient temperatures as high as 43°C.

In keeping with Precision’s environmental aims, the cabinets use high performance zero ODP injected polyurethane insulation and are available in both hydrocarbon and ‘ultra-green’ HFO refrigerant versions.

Precision’s wall cabinets are supplied with a wall mounting kit. Prices start from £2,430 and they are available from distributors nationwide.
