Utopia focuses on new products at Ambiente

Stand 6.0 D20, Ambiente, Frankfurt am Main, 7 -11 February 2020

Ambiente hosts around 4,500 exhibitors from 92 nations. It’s the setting for future industry challenges, for innovations, new ideas and trends, so is the perfect platform for Utopia, the UK’s market leader in tableware and glassware for the hospitality industry, to launch a massive 229 products across its key categories. With rapidly increasing exports around the world, the company aims to deliver the most up to date, innovative and stylish products. From tealight holders to polycarbonates, Utopia will be showing the latest trends on stand 6.0 D20 at Ambiente.

Tealights are the perfect way to add mood and effect to bars and restaurants. Utopia has 20 new glass tealight holders on display at Ambiente. The finishes include ribbed, criss-cross, panelled, studded and mesh, in a variety of colours and shapes all designed to create sparkle and twinkle. They come at three price points to suit different venues’ budgets.

The new Goa porcelain tableware has an earthy green and brown glaze in keeping with the latest trends towards warm rustic colours. Goa features irregular bowls, which make a statement and bring atmosphere, not only to the dish but also to the restaurant setting, especially when set alongside the matching plates.

Utopia is launching a range of upmarket polycarbonate products, bringing style, sophistication and safety to the bar and restaurant environment. These polycarbonates look as clear as glass and are basically indestructible. Outdoors or indoors they work perfectly to add a unique look while preserving both customer and staff safety.

The new polycarbonate range, called Lucent, covers all a bar’s needs. There are three sizes of panelled stacking tumblers, a version of the Symphony range of glass tumblers, but stackable, a lined embossed tumbler design, a cut martini style design, two chic flute styles and an ice bucket in the popular Gatsby style.

“Ambiente is a chance for us to showcase all that’s new and exciting,” says Kathryn Oldershaw, marketing director, Utopia. “It’s a chance for the industry to see first hand what tomorrow’s bar and restaurants will be using.”
