Short, sharp updates will give delegates the latest ‘must knows’ on Brexit, EFCEM and the PKS
CESA Conference 2018 in association with Cedabond, ENSE and the FCSI
Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th November, De Vere Cotswold Water Park
For 2018 CESA has introduced a series of Bitesize sessions into the Conference programme. They’ll give delegates the very latest ‘must know’ information on key issues including Brexit, the role of EFCEM in helping UK foodservice equipment manufacturers in Europe, and the opportunities for CESA members at the 2019 Professional Kitchen Show.
Although each session will be short, sharp and highly targeted, there will be an opportunity to ask questions, with conference chair Simon Jack ensuring the focus is kept very much to the point.
Phil Williams, CEO of Victor Manufacturing, will give the Bitesize session on The Increased Importance of EFCEM (the European Federation of Catering Equipment Manufacturers). As Brexit looms, how can UK and European manufacturers work together to mitigate the potential pitfalls?
The Brexit session will led by Keith Warren, director of CESA. He’ll give the latest insights, following meetings in Europe and the UK, discussing what plans legislators and businesses are considering and providing ‘what to do’ guidance for companies.
Ross Carter of Fresh Montgomery will reveal plans for the Professional Kitchen Show, which is a standalone event at the NEC Birmingham, 22-23 January 2019, and sister event of HRC – The Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Show (formerly Hotelympia) at London ExCeL, 3-5 March 2020. He’ll talk about innovations designed to help CESA members maximise their profile, including the Kitchenology feature, The Professional Kitchen Show Awards and developing engagement with end user groups, dealerships and kitchen designers.
For 2018 the CESA Conference is at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park, taking place on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th November. A variety of booking options is available to delegates, from simple attendance at the Conference itself to two-day packages including both the informal dinner (14th November) and the gala dinner (15th November), as well as golf or another activity. The event is open to all foodservice industry professionals, including equipment manufacturers, suppliers and dealers, consultants and operators. CESA members receive a discount.
