Mixing it big, bigger and even bigger

FEM adds 10, 20 and 30 litre mixers to the successful Sirman Plutone planetary range

Planetary mixers are the real workhorses in commercial kitchens and bakeries. To increase mixing power, FEM has added three new Sirman planetary mixers to its Plutone range – 10, 20 and 30 litre versions to stand alongside the already successful 7 litre model.

The planetary mixers are heavy duty, durable and offer the same robust build quality as previous models. However, with the introduction of these new bigger models, bakers can more easily produce larger batches using a single machine. The bigger models also come with extra features, such as a lever operated bowl lift, metal wire bowl guard and safety micro switches for the lid and the bowl.

The newer models continue to be easy to accommodate in the work area as they are compact and stable. The 10 litre is a countertop unit, the 20 litre a bench-mounted model and the 30 litre is a floor-standing mixer.

FEM’s Sirman Plutone mixers are easy to maintain and clean. The stainless steel bowls can be removed for thorough washing to keep the machines working efficiently and hygienically, three stainless steel attachments, a dough hook, whisk and spatula, are supplied as standard. The 30 litre model also comes with a feed tray attachment for adding extra ingredients, toppings or flavourings.

The metal construction and three-speed steel gear box make the new mixers hard wearing and suitable for all kitchen and bakery operations.

The Plutone 10 mixer, is 440mm (W) x 500mm (D) and 630mm (H).
