FEM introduces compact Sirman 1/1 induction buffet plate
A successful buffet is about presentation and quality. Keeping food warm without bulky and intrusive equipment is essential and modern induction plates are the answer. FEM (Foodservice Equipment Marketing) has introduced the Sirman 1/1 induction buffet plate warmer to maintain gastronorm containers at the desired temperature in a buffet display. The unit is also suitable for other front and back of house operations where hot food needs to be held at a safe temperature, ready to serve.
This compact and slim induction plate offers high-efficiency and precision heating with thermostatic control from 75 to 90°C. This precision means that, with induction warming, operators can offer greater consistency of food, and thus higher quality. The Sirman induction plate maintains a constant temperature and eliminates humidity-related problems associated with bain marie type warmers.
The induction plate is easy to look after – cleaning is fast as food doesn’t stick so it can be simply wiped down after use. Its compact, lightweight design means it can be easily moved and two or more can be sited together for larger displays.
The overall dimensions of the plate are 380mm wide x 550mm deep x 25mm high with the tempered glass surface designed to fit 1/1 Gastronorm containers. The induction plate is supplied with a one year warranty.
