FEM launches San Jamar Ez-Kleen sauce bottles with valves
Sauce can be messy stuff especially in a busy finishing area where plates and condiment pots are being rushed to the pass. A simple thing like a well-designed sauce bottle can make all the difference to the speed and tidiness of the finished menu item. FEM (Foodservice Equipment Marketing) has introduced the San Jamar Ez-Kleen sauce bottles with the express purpose of streamlining the food-prep line for a faster and more efficient service.
The bottles are easy to use, clean and affordable with three valve options for thin-to-thick dispensing. They fill from the top, and gravity directs the contents toward leak-resistant dispensing valves that are protected from surface contact by their special cap design. Smooth, easy-to-clean side walls on the bottles reduce bacteria build and make them very easy to clean. Constructed from durable polyethylene, they are comfortable to handle and squeeze when dispensing the sauce. The first-in, first-out design means sauce stays fresh.
To suit most applications the bottles are supplied in four sizes, 241, 455, 568 and 682ml with three either yellow, green or blue valves for each size. The yellow valve is designed for viscous sauces such as mayonnaise, the green for thin sauces such as balsamic vinegar and the blue for thicker sauces like tartar. The proprietary valve design reduces splatter to make portions more consistent and enhance food presentation.
There are also new coloured caps available to purchase separately for each bottles size. These six colour-coded caps avoid cross-contamination in the kitchen and make it easy to identify different
sauces during food prep.
