FEM, Nisbets and Alto-Shaam team up for live demos

Thought provoking events will feature variety latest cooking technologies

FEM and Alto-Shaam have partnered with Nisbets to provide an exclusive ‘Taste of Alto-Shaam’ event at the NCEC (National Catering Equipment Centre) in Bristol.  It will feature some of the very latest cooking technologies, including Alto-Shaam’s innovative Converge Multi-Cook Oven.

The event takes place on 20th February, from 10am till 12 noon.  Expert chefs will put several Alto-Shaam appliances through their paces, cooking up a series of dishes for attendees to try.  Alongside the Converge, they will also demonstrate the benefits and features of the Vector Multi-Cook Oven and Alto-Shaam’s Cook and Hold Ovens and Holding Drawers.

For caterers who can’t make the morning session, there will be a second demo in the afternoon, from 1pm to 3pm, that will be streamed live from the NCEC to the Nisbets store on Shaftesbury Avenue.

“We hope that offering both the Bristol and London events on the same day will encourage as many caterers to attend as possible,” says Mark Hogan, commercial director at FEM, which is the UK distributor for Alto-Shaam.  “Those coming to the afternoon session will still be able to talk to the chefs and get their input, just as if they were face to face.  In addition, the appliances being demonstrated will be on show in the London venue, so they can still get the hands-on experience!”

Demonstrations will be led by FEM’s Training & Development Chef, Nathan Osbourne, and Billy Eatenton, Regional Manager for the UK at Alto-Shaam.

They will be showing a selection of slow roasted cooked meats in the Alto-Shaam Cook and Hold Ovens, demonstrating the delicate and precise holding with drawer warmers, and showing how operators can now cook with steam in a multi-level system at different temperatures with the Converge.  It will be a thought-provoking event, with the contrasting style of the super-fast Converge and Vector models complementing the slow cooking offered by the Cook and Hold ovens.

Caterers interested in attending either the Bristol or London demos should email marketing @fem.co.uk or sign up via this link:- https://www.fem.co.uk/blog/post/exclusive-end-user-training-alto-shaam
