Williams will be showing one of its latest multidecks at this year’s LACA show. Gem multidecks are a popular choice in many schools, as they provide a flexible and hygienic method of offering a selection of grab and go products, which encourages meal take-up from pupils and helps school caterers to compete with the high street outlets.
While its open-fronted multidecks are extremely energy efficient, tests recently conducted by Williams show that models with doors on the front decrease energy consumption by up to 60%, which is good news for schools looking to improve their sustainability and cut running costs.
Available with hinged or sliding doors, the latest Gem multidecks use energy saving LEDs and clear, double-walled glass to create an attractive display for products. A combination of re-engineered airflow features, heat exchangers and green refrigerant produce Williams’ most energy efficient Multidecks to date. A full range of customisation options allows them to be specified to exact requirements. For further flexibility, remote refrigeration and the ability to multiplex units is also possible.
