Versatility Williams: the cutting edge of cool

British manufacturer shows cornucopia of refrigeration concepts

Stand P220, HRC, London ExCeL, March 21-23 2022

Williams will be highlighting the versatility and breadth of modern foodservice refrigeration at HRC 2022.  From variable temperature individual chef’s drawers to meat ageing cabinets, and from attention-grabbing multidecks to a fridge that thinks it’s a work of art, there will be a cornucopia of cool refrigeration concepts on stand P220.

“Applications for refrigeration have expanded exponentially in the past few years,” says Williams’ sales director Malcolm Harling.  “There are multiple drivers, such as front of house cooking, the squeeze on kitchen space, the growth of food to go…. Our stand will highlight the diversity that operators require today.”

Williams will be sharing the stand with sister company Falcon Foodservice Equipment.  Part of the display will highlight the two companies’ ‘perfect match’ capabilities – for example, a Chef’s Drawer (model VRWCD1) will be shown with a Falcon appliance stacked on top.  Being a variable temperature model, the Chef’s Drawer can be easily turned from chilled to frozen storage, allowing kitchens to instantly adapt their refrigeration to suit menu and seasonal changes.

Meat ageing is fast becoming a major trend in both foodservice and retail.  The Williams MAR1 (Meat Ageing Refrigerator) on the stand is an attractive cabinet that ages meat perfectly, thanks to its precise temperature and humidity controls.  Its attractive design is ideal for either kitchen or front of house, with its pink Himalayan rock salt blocks, helping manage humidity and adding flavour to the meat, underlining the theatre.

Williams will also unveil its new-style Multidecks, running on natural eco-friendly refrigerant.  Both open-fronted units and models with doors will be on show, in a variety of configurations, including a space-saving slimline version (model R70 SCS).  Completing the line-up is a Scarlet heated Multideck (XS100), showcasing how operators can offer both heated and chilled grab and go food in eye-catching style.

Meanwhile the Aztra undercounter (AZ5UC) emphasises how modern fridges can help kitchen designers maximise chilled storage, no matter how limited the area.  Like the Chef’s Drawer, the Aztra can be located in the tightest of spaces, with its compact dimensions and front-venting refrigeration system.

For anyone wanting to make a statement with their refrigeration, the Williams Chameleon service delivers in style.  You want your fridge to look like a phone box?  Or a wooden shed?  Or a rocket?  Or a Picasso?  On display will be a Jade J300U upright cabinet, wrapped in a hard-wearing, food safe vinyl artwork.

Williams Refrigeration offers a comprehensive range of commercial refrigeration including gastronorm cabinets and counters, specialist bakery equipment, coldrooms, multidecks and blast chillers.
