FEM expands sales team with two key appointments

Bell and McKenzie bring new outlooks that will enhance dealer and customer support

Two new faces have joined the FEM sales team in recent weeks.  Helen Bell has taken over as Sales Office Manager, while Rachel McKenzie has joined as Internal Sales Manager, a new position within the company.

Helen has spent over 19 years working in sales offices and supporting sales teams, most recently as Customer Care Manager at Teknek, part of the ITW Group.  At FEM, she will be overseeing the sales office with a focus on dealer and customer support – organising the team to make sure orders are processed quickly, dealing with queries and building relationships with FEM’s dealer network.

“I caught the organising bug in my first job, with the RAF, booking transport to move colleagues around the world,” she says.  “Here my priority is to ensure customers and dealers get what they need, when they need it…When it comes to sales support, FEM is a market leader and I share the company’s passion for offering customers a first-class service.”

Helen, 48, has been married since 2002 and has an 11-year old daughter. Outside of work, Helen enjoys spending time with her family and long walks with their dogs.

As FEM’s Internal Sales Manager Rachel will be able to call on her extensive experience of working with sales personnel, dealers and customers to build relationships and business.   Her most recent position was as Commercial Manager with Dimensions Scotland, the e-commerce fulfilment company.   Her new job will see her become a key point of contact for dealers and customers as well as for the FEM external sales team, for whom she will supply office-based support.

She says, “FEM has a great range of products and a wealth of knowledge of the foodservice industry.  I’m really excited to be joining the team and I look forward to being involved in the great work everyone does here.”

At 28, Rachel has been married for two years. Outside of work Rachel has three ponies, a donkey and two dogs, and she enjoys riding and hill walking.

“I’m delighted to welcome Helen and Rachel to the team,” says Mark Hogan, FEM’s Commercial Director.  “Both bring fantastic experience and new outlooks that will really enhance our skill set, helping us deliver even better support for dealers and customers.”
