Falcon expands sales team

A welcome return for Mel D’Aubney and a new role for Adam Wilkinson

Falcon Foodservice Equipment has expanded its sales force with two recruits – although one of them is making a welcome return to the company.  Melanie D’Aubney is the new Area Sales Manager for London and the South East.  She’ll be a familiar face to her dealers and foodservice operators, as it’s the same area she looked after for Falcon when she was with the company previously.  Meanwhile Adam Wilkinson joins in the new position of Business Development Manager for the healthcare sector.  His focus will be growing Falcon’s healthcare business and establishing the recently launched Vario-Therm range in the market.

D’Aubney has over 20 years’ experience in foodservice equipment sales and customer service, including her four years with Falcon.  “I’m so pleased to be back with the Falcon family,” she says.  “I’m looking forward to meeting up with my dealers and customers again, and to building new relationships in the area.”

“Mel is such an experienced sales professional,” says Paul Bayer, Falcon’s National Sales Manager.  “It’s great that we’ve been able to bring her back and I know she’ll hit the ground running.”

Adam has also spent the last 20 years in sales and has considerable experience across several sectors.  “Falcon is such an iconic company and we have some absolutely brilliant products for the healthcare sector,” he says.  “It’s been great going through the induction process, meeting the support teams and, of course, spending time in the kitchen with our development chef, Shaune Hall, getting to know the products.  Now I’m really looking forward to getting on with the job.”

Bayer says, “Adam’s background in equipment sales and the NHS really stood out for us and his appointment, following hard on the heels of the Vario-Therm launch, underlines our commitment to the healthcare sector.

“Mel and Adam are both excellent sales professionals and just the right fit, not just for the roles they’re going into, but for our sales team and the wider Falcon team too,” adds Bayer.  “They bring with them experience, knowledge, personality and fresh ideas.  These are two key appointments as we continue to build on what’s been a good year for us, despite all of the challenges the market has faced.”
