Go West! FEA’s NAFEM opportunity: will North America be your next export market?

NAFEM 2021 offers UK foodservice equipment exporters access to US potential

UK Plc is looking to build trade outside the EU, and the USA is a key potential market.  Which means FEA’s UK Pavilion at the NAFEM Show 2021 is a timely opportunity for UK foodservice equipment companies looking at America as an export prospect.

The NAFEM Show dates have been moved this year to 26-28 August and the event is happening in Orlando, Florida.  The FEA UK Pavilion features stands that are 10ft by 10ft, offering companies a practical and cost effective way to access the USA market.

Long-time exhibitor Adande Refrigeration has been taking advantage of the opportunity to exhibit in the UK Pavilion for several years.  Executive chairman Nigel Bell says, “NAFEM is one of the most significant shows in the world for food service equipment. I have attended for a number of years and found that many major current and potential customers are represented from the US and other countries.”

FEA is organising a package of support for exhibitors in the UK Pavilion, ranging from a shell stand to networking and marketing activities.

“The premier exhibition in the United States for manufacturers of catering appliances, the NAFEM Show is looking to jump start the reopening of the foodservice equipment industry in the USA,” says Steve Goodliff, chair of FEA’s Export Group.  “It promises to generate even more interest than usual.”

NAFEM (North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers) is FEA’s sister association in the USA.  The two organisations collaborate on a wide variety of projects and reciprocal arrangements.  “Just getting a stand at this exhibition is highly competitive,” says Goodliff.  “We are grateful to NAFEM for allocating the space that allows us to bring over a group of British manufacturers to the UK Pavilion.”

To find out more about participating contact Jocelyn Carr of FEA by email, jocelyn.carr@fea.co.uk.   News and information will also be uploaded, as soon as it is available, on the FEA website.  Prices are currently being finalised, but FEA is asking potential participants to register their interest as soon as possible, as the number of stands will impact the final costings.  Companies do not have to be FEA members to participate in the UK Pavilion, though those who are members will benefit from a discounted price.
