Rebrand for iconic British manufacturer; Falcon also launches new website
One of Britain’s best known foodservice equipment brands, Falcon Foodservice Equipment, has unveiled a new logo and launched a new website.
Falcon’s new logo is an update, rather than a complete overhaul, and shows a stylised stainless steel Falcon swooping in to land, against a red background.
“The old logo had been with us for many years and, while it’s still much loved, it was getting a little tired,” says Peter McAllister, managing director of Falcon. “So it was time for a change – albeit an evolution rather than a revolution. The new logo retains the dynamic image of the Falcon, giving it a distinctive, modern twist.”
Falcon carried out extensive market research before finalising the new logo. “We spoke to customers, end users, dealers and consultants, to gauge the feeling of the Falcon brand, what the logo stood for and how people felt about it,” says McAllister. “Their feedback helped us create the new look. A key element was the red background – people wanted us to retain it. One chef said when he went into a new kitchen, if he saw the familiar red badge he knew he was going to be alright!”
The new logo flies at the top of Falcon’s latest website, which underlines the company’s presence in every sector of the foodservice industry, from hotels, pubs and restaurants to education, the health sector and prisons. As well as giving customer and dealer information covering the company’s many brands, there are links to advice sections, Falcon’s social media platforms and to the Falcon TV channel.
The website will also be the place to find the latest news about Falcon’s product launches for 2021. These include an entire range of food service systems for hospitals and care homes, featuring bulk delivery and food service trolleys, regen ovens and microwaves, as well as an innovative device to prevent deep fat fryer fires.
The new website is at www.falconfoodservice.com.
