Rational shows two latest launches at virtual reality trade show

iCombi Pro and iVario set to be vNext highlights

In the new normal exhibitions are, to say the least, tricky.  However, chefs and operators still want to know more about the latest product launches – that’s why Rational has signed up for the vNext virtual trade show, which is being organised by Specifi and taking place on September 30th.

The event is a virtual exhibition creating an immersive experience that allows visitors to access Rational’s pod, where they can discover and explore the company’s two exciting new launches, the iCombi Pro combi steamers and the iVario multifunctional cooking systems, in 360° detail.  They’ll also be able to learn about the iKitchen concept, which combines the iCombi, iVario and ConnectedCooking platform to deliver an outstanding kitchen management solution.

Being a virtual event has its drawbacks, but also its advantages.  “The one thing we can’t give is hands-on experience,” says Adam Knights, marketing director of Rational UK.  “But we can supply everything else – and visitors will be experiencing it all from the convenience of their desktop, laptop or even a smartphone or tablet.”

Just like at a ‘traditional’ trade show, Rational personnel will be on hand and will be able to talk direct to visitors, point them in the right direction, explain the latest products, send them information, discuss their needs, and so on.  Visitors can also book meetings with Rational experts in specific areas, such as event catering or school meals.

vNext also features a stimulating speaker programme that includes Heston Blumenthal, Hospitality UK’s CEO Kate Nicholls, Ian Bryant from Sprint Group, Keith Warren from the Foodservice Equipment Association (FEA), and SA Brain’s food operations manager Nathan Evans – all of whom will be available for attendees to question direct.

“Since the start of the pandemic Rational has embraced online activities such as webinars and product training,” says Knights. “We really value the way advanced digital technology is helping us to maintain and enhance our customer communication. The world has changed and so must our industry.  In the coming year Rational plans to continue to invest in innovative events like vNext.”

One of the videos featured on Rational’s vNext pod is a teaser for its upcoming revised programme of webinars.  These are designed to give potential customers a demonstration of just how powerful the benefits of the iCombi Pro and iVario Pro can be in the commercial kitchen.  vNext visitors can book a webinar direct or, to find out more, visit www.rational-online.com.
