CESA Conference 2019: Titans unveil Tomorrow

Earley, Maalouf and Seelye on digitalisation, connectivity and the factors driving change

CESA Conference 2019 in association with the FCSI,

Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 November, Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel, Hounslow.

What are the key issues driving change?  How are they impacting on the foodservice equipment market?  How do you plan for connectivity and digitalisation?  And what does the future look like?

Following the success of the ‘Titans of Industry’ panel at the CESA Conference 2018, the exercise is being repeated this year with a new trio of titans who will be picking apart a new subject: what does tomorrow look like?  After each has made their arguments, delegates will get the chance to quiz them under the perceptive direction of Simon Jack, who is Conference chair for 2019.

The three titans for 2019 are Kathleen Seelye, founding executive principal of Ricca consultancy; Andy Earley, head of procurement at Hilton Hotels; and Middleby’s group managing director, Najib Maalouf.  Theirs will be the last session in the morning, immediately prior to lunch. This is part of a day packed full with business-focussed content relevant to all in the foodservice equipment supply chain.

Networking Nirvana

While the Titans Panel is one of the highlights of a very strong speaker platform, the CESA Conference is always a top networking opportunity, too, and the 2019 version is no exception.  Fancy your chances as the next Bond?  The ever popular Golf Day takes place on Stoke Park’s famous championship course, the scene of many an historic round including 007’s epic golfing duel in Goldfinger.

Next up is the CESA AGM, which takes place on Wednesday 13 November at 3pm, immediately after the golf event ends.  Later that evening the informal networking dinner will see delegates gather to raise a glass or two, while also raising money for charity.  This year the cash will be going to Hospitality Action.

The Conference Thursday also offers plenty of chances to meet and greet colleagues, with breaks, meals and the exhibition all vying for attention.  In the evening the Conference awards dinner rounds off the event in glittering fashion.
