Utopia’s autumn range has the table top covered
Utopia’s new Autumn Collection encompasses a massive 62 new products to set the scene for the perfect harvest table top. Ceramics, cutlery and tableware accessories all pick up on the autumn hues of gold, red, mocha and cream.
Gold embodies the spirit of autumn and Utopia’s new gold PVD Manhattan cutlery adds a cost-effective way to add style to the table. The PVD (physical vapour deposition) coating adds the gold colour and durability to the cutlery. Other new cutlery items include the serrated edged Laguiole Steak Knives, perfect for meat eaters.
A large focus of the autumn launch is around the new mocha, red and cream colours introduced to Utopia’s Barista range of porcelain coffee mugs, cups and saucers. Barista is the ideal way of creating a stylish, contemporary feel in a specialist coffee shop or other café setting. With the introduction of the new colours its appeal has been widened.
The trend for larger plates continues and Utopia has introduced one to the Futada collection from Japanese pottery producers. It is in the same stunning mossy-grey colourway, the same subtle texture, just more of it to enhance presentation. Another large plate from the Japanese producers has been added to the breath-taking Sendan collection. This plate has delicate lines from centre to edge reminiscent of a sea urchin’s spines.
Extensions to the Umbra give a larger version of the irregular bowl and a 45 x 20cm platter are ideal for the sharing trends across all areas of the eating out market. The Umbra boasts an elegant light finish with dappled brown rims.
The Dusky, a completely new range of vitrified porcelain plates features a warm crackle glaze, framed with a semi-matt border to create a stunning canvas for chefs to present signature dishes.
