Maximising space in a busy catering environment is vital, and Williams Refrigeration will be showcasing a slimline multideck double act at TUCO Conference 2019. On display will be two market leading compact models, a R70 multideck and Williams’ first heated grab and go unit, the Scarlet XS70. Both appliances offer great versatility, with double wheel castors making them a breeze to reposition, adjustable shelves providing adaptable options for a variety of products and a comprehensive choice of colours, so they fit in with any décor.
The R70 is the smallest of all of the Williams Gem multidecks, but retains the high levels of performance and energy efficiency alongside the stylish design of its larger counterparts. It utilises every inch of space available with three adjustable shelves and a capacity of 201 litres, despite being only 710mm wide by 1765mm tall and 636mm deep. The R70 is available with either a nightblind or a security shutter.
Williams turns up the temperature with the introduction of its Scarlet XS70 heated grab and go unit. Built-in infra-red quartz halogen lamps enable the Scarlet XS70 to maintain the ideal holding temperature for pre-cooked foods. It provides an instant and consistent heat of 65°C – 70°C, perfect for displaying hot foods such as pastries, sausage rolls, soups and pies. The unit has an interior base and three tilted shelves, with each having an individually controlled temperature setting. This makes it possible to safely store different foods at their required temperatures.
