Allergen safety: Kitchen-friendly label printer now available from Parsley in Time
The Date Code Genie automated label printer from NCCO is now available from Parsley in Time.
With the increasing importance of being able to provide customers with nutritional and allergen information, it is designed specifically for foodservice businesses and offers a simple to use yet extremely flexible labelling solution.
Constructed from kitchen-grade stainless steel and controlled via a full-colour touchscreen, the Date Code Genie provides a complete labelling solution for a variety of different business types. The Date Code Genie is a self-contained desktop unit with a thermal printer capable of printing up to sixty labels a minute and can use any blank white label from the NCCO range.
Multiple label templates can be created to meet the needs of each customer’s exact requirements and customised with user-generated content via its online multimedia gallery, for example, by adding company logos or branding as well as barcodes.
It is capable of printing both two and three inch wide labels, with a comprehensive choice of sizes and shapes available. As well as product labelling it can be used for stock and inventory control, for example by helping to ensure consistent food prep and minimising waste with accurate times and dates.
It includes WiFi connectivity, which allows for data to be backed up securely in the cloud. This also provides centralised control for multi-site businesses, allowing menus to be updated easily. Free software updates are included, with dedicated customer support also available should any issues arise.
