When it comes to food transportation it’s all about capacity maintaining food quality at safe temperatures, and ease of use. The new Cambro Pro Cart Ultra supplied by FEM ticks all those boxes. The dual compartments mean hot and cold food can be transferred together in one cart.
Available in electric and non-electric models, the Pro Cart Ultra has capacity for up to twenty GN 1/1 food pans, fourteen baking trays, fourteen large pizza boxes or fourteen full size sheet pans (460 x 660 mm). It is constructed from a robust polyethylene exterior, which retains food moisture naturally and remains cool to touch.
Meanwhile, a gasket -free quick-close magnetic door provides a tight seal for maximum temperature retention. The CFC-free polyurethane foam insulation ensures food can be held either hot or cold for four hours or more, without electricity.
A breeze to navigate, due to casters and perimeter bumper, the carts also feature ergonomic door handles and nylon latches for easy opening and closing. Menu pockets make it straightforward to label cabinets.
The electric models operate as either hot cupboards or fridges, available with a choice of double hot or double cold compartments, or the combination of one hot and one cold compartment. They are perfect for applications that require frequent door opening and closing. Air is constantly circulated gently and evenly, from front to back, ensuring excellent temperature control. Digital controllers and pre-sets mean that food can be kept hot safely between 65°C and 74°C, or cold from 0.3°C to 4.4°C. A cord keeper stores the power cable neatly and safely.
The non-electric model, meanwhile, is able to monitor internal cabinet temperature using a solar digital thermometer.
There are four models in the Pro Cart Ultra range, one non-electric – the PCUPP, and three electric – the PCUHH2UK, which has two hot compartments, PCUCC2UK, two cold compartments, and the PCUHC2UK, which is split into a hot top compartment and a cold bottom one. All models measure 711(W) x 908(D) x 1676(H) mm.
