Comenda’s AC2 and AC2E rack conveyors are flexible warewashing solutions for events big or small.
Warewashing for the banqueting circuit is not straightforward. The workload can be unpredictable, with some events involving catering to large numbers and resulting in mounds of dirty dishes, crockery, cookware and glasses, while smaller ones will create a fraction of the amount. Whatever the size, the wash results needs to be of the same quality, and it is vital that a banquet kitchen has a warewasher that is up to the job.
When it comes to selecting a warewasher, size truly matters. In a banqueting kitchen set-up that’s tight on space, it is essential that no half measures are taken when specifying a machine. Comenda’s AC2 and AC2E Series are the ideal solution.
The AC2 rack conveyor dishwashers occupy as little as 1.15 linear metres of space, yet the standard model is able to wash up to 1800 dishes an hour. Meanwhile the AC2E is a modular system that’s available in a variety of configurations, to match requirements and fit whatever space is available.
Don’t worry about any potential positional problems in the kitchen: Comenda’s inbuilt versatility includes the ability to install machines to load racks from either left or right, and corner configurations mean it can be squeezed into the tightest of spaces. The automatic conveyor system ensures fast wash times.
The AC2 and AC2E are built to handle life in the busiest banqueting kitchen and the stainless steel construction makes it easy to maintain hygiene. They are also easy to live with: double wall doors dampen operation noise and reduce energy use, while door wipe seals keep the inside of the doors clean. Deep drawn tanks with rounded corners prevent dirt from building up. The control panel makes operation simple and intuitive and provides a digital temperature readout.
Energy- and water-saving options include heat pumps and the Proportional Rinse System (PRS). All models are fitted with a rinse Economiser system that activates rinsing only when a rack is present.
