£15,000 in grants for Host exhibitors

CESA accesses DIT funding for UK companies planning show at Milan

CESA met with Department for International Trade (DIT) on July 4 and, as a direct result of the Association’s lobbying, received ten grants of £1500 each for exhibiting companies at the Host Milan exhibition.

“Host Milan is Europe’s leading Ho.Re.Ca show for catering equipment,” says Steve Goodliff, CESA’s Export Group chair.  “It attracts tens of thousands of VIP visitors.  It’s a big opportunity for British companies to talk to key players from Europe and the rest of the world – and, indeed, from the UK.”

Host is at the Fiera Milano from 20-24 October 2017.  Catering equipment companies wishing to exhibit and receive funding should contact the CESA office for the application form and details. The funding is through the Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP).

CESA is a DIT Trade Challenge Partner, meaning that it has met the Department’s stringent criteria for the support and delivery services that it offers its members. CESA will be exhibiting at Host in its own right and will be on hand to help British equipment exhibitors maximise the business opportunity.

“One of our key remits is to provide added value to UK companies looking to develop overseas business,” says Goodliff. “The Association’s involvement in international shows, and leading UK exhibitions, has a proven track record of developing sales for members.”

CESA also organises and runs the UK Pavilion at the GulfHost exhibition (formerly GulFood) in Dubai in September 2017, this event is also supported by DIT.
