“Right now a big tableware trend is nature,” says Rob Blunderfield, marketing manager of Parsley in Time.  “The ideas to look out for cover a huge range of concepts, from earthy colours and rustic textures to beautiful stone-smooth lines and hand-finished products.”

Typical of the trend are the ‘pebble’ teapots from London Pottery, which are featured in the Parsley in Time portfolio.  They are created by ceramic designer David Birch and draw inspiration from sea-polished pebbles he found on the beach.

The portfolio draws together innovative talent from many of the industry’s top tableware designer brands, including Utopia, Churchill, Dudson and Robert Welch.

In terms of glassware, the fashion is mixed, says Rob.  “On the one hand thin, delicate designs that are light as a feather, though still glasswasher safe of course, are popular.  On the other heavy weight tumblers with raised, etched patterns are also in demand.”  The glassware brands highlighted in the portfolio include Artis and Riedel.

Many of the ideas from the Parsley in Time portfolio are pulled together in the company’s latest brochure, Autumn / Winter.  The publication features products alongside a wide selection of presentation ideas and exclusive lines, including a range of vintage cocktail glasses from Rona.

Copies of Autumn / Winter are available on request from Parsley in Time, in either printed or PDF formats.  To view the latest portfolio, visit the company website.

For operators who are looking for the ultimate in exclusive lines, there’s Parsley in Time’s Concierge service, which sources the most unusual and bespoke products, based on the customer’s brief.
