‘Best Foam’ technology delivers innovation in coffee

Schaerer is showing its latest bean-to-cup espresso technology at Host in Milan, including prototypes of upcoming models.
“In terms of coffee menus, milk foam is where it’s at when it comes to innovation,” says Justin Stockwell, managing director of Caffeine Limited, which markets Schaerer machines in the UK. “Visitors will want to check out Schaerer’s latest bean-to-cup machines, which use ‘Best Foam’ technology to foam milk better than a barista.” This is because it precisely controls the process and creates the exact type of foam required for specific drinks – a system called ‘micro bubble technology’. So the foam for one drink can be stiffer or creamier than for another – at the touch of a button. “And it’s not just for hot drinks – the foams can be adjusted for cold ones, too,” says Justin.
At Host Schaerer has taken this a step further. Its ‘Best Foam’ machines can create special, bespoke foams. For example, on the latest Coffee Art Plus machine there’s a button to create a Cappuccino Fujiyama, which is topped with a peaked ‘mountain’ of creamy foam.
Caffeine Ltd is one of the UK’s leading coffee machines specialists, distributing brands including Schaerer and Gaggia. The company also offers a comprehensive choice of coffee service accessories. For more information visit caffeineonline.co.uk.
