If you’re an angler or a motor sports fan involved in catering equipment, CESA is organising two events with CEDA and the FCSI, on behalf of the industry, that should be in your diary.
The first is the Industry Trout Fishing Day at Holbury Lakes, Hampshire, on Friday, 15th of May 2015. This event is open to all, from experienced fishermen to anyone who wants to cast a fly for the first time. In addition to the sport and banter, there will be a BBQ lunch and refreshments. Fishing will be from 08:30 to 16:30 with the option to continue later. The cost for fishing and refreshments is £105 per person. For those who wish to try the sport for the first time, tuition is available at £15 per person and tackle is available for £17.
Second is the Industry Go-Karting Day at Daytona, Milton Keynes, on Wednesday, 1st of July 2015. This is an opportunity to enter a company team – or several teams – and to invite guests or customers to take part in an event that, as well as being fun, will provide excellent networking opportunities. The day starts with breakfast followed by a full briefing by circuit staff. All safety equipment will be provided. This will be a three hour endurance event so that everybody will get plenty of opportunity to drive, with prizes for ‘Fastest Lap’, ‘Overall Team Prize’ and more. The cost is £695 per team.
“These events have been organised following requests from people within the catering equipment industry,” says Simon Frost, chair of CESA. “At the same time, Holbury is one of the leading trout fisheries, and Daytona is a really exhilarating experience – so we expect both days to be well supported!”
Both events are also open to non-members of CESA, CEDA and the FCSI.
