Winterhalter’s PT Series just got better – new rack system doubles capacity to halve operating costs
Winterhalter’s PT Series passthrough warewashers are the market leaders when it comes to cleaning results, speed and efficiency. Now, Winterhalter has developed a double-rack system for the PT Series allowing two racks of dirty items to be washed simultaneously. This doubles the wash capacity and halves the operating costs, while ensuring the brilliant cleaning results expected of a Winterhalter wash.
The three-part double-rack system consists of a special cup rack, a plate rack and cutlery holder. It’s very easy to use: items are placed into the cup rack, then the empty plate rack and cutlery holder are placed on top and loaded, effectively doubling the washing capacity. By washing two racks in one wash cycle, the consumption of energy, water, detergent and rinse aid is halved per rack. This means that operating costs go down by up to 50 percent.
Clever machine design guarantees outstanding cleaning results, even when double-loaded. The elliptical wash fields give maximum surface coverage, the lower wash system cleaning the cups and the upper wash system the plates and cutlery. Winterhalter’s VarioPower settings adjust pressure, temperature, time, detergent and rinse aid to ensure perfect results, even with stubborn soiling, while the full-flow filtration system constantly maintains clean wash water.
The new rack system is particularly useful at peak times to speed up throughput. As soon as the rush is over, the two racks can be separated from each other and the machine operated as usual. The racks can handle up to 25 cups and 16 plates. The specially designed cup-holding rack is compatible with the standard plate rack and can be ordered as an individual item, if the standard rack is already in use.
