Williams at LACA 2014:

Multi-faceted Multidecks are Grab & Go Gems

Williams Grab & Go Multideck with sliding doorsGrab and Go is an increasingly important part of the food offering in education catering.  At the LACA Conference 2014 Williams will be highlighting its latest refrigerated merchandiser display cabinets.  They include the company’s multi-faceted Gem Multidecks, which now offer a variety of energy-saving options as well as a wide range of coloured stainless steel finishes to really make a splash in the school dining area.

The Multidecks’ energy saving features include LED lighting and optional sliding front doors, which can reduce energy consumption of up to 50% compared to traditional, open commercial chillers.

When is comes to refrigerated storage for schools Williams has developed a wide range of models, to suit all sizes of kitchens.  At LACA it will promote its popular Jade range of gastronorm upright cabinets and counters.  Again, energy-saving is a priority, with clever features such as the Williams CoolSmart controller, which cuts power consumption by around 15% by adjusting the refrigeration system’s operation to take account of quiet or busy periods.  In fact, the Jade HJC2 HDC is officially the UK’s most energy-efficient counter, according to the Carbon Trust.

Alongside the standard Jade counters, Williams has developed a slimline version.  The model offers all the features of the established Jade range, but slimmed down to a depth of just 500mm, making it ideal for tight spaces.
