Warewasher Wizard of Oz: Brett Duffy joins Winterhalter

Brett Duffy of Winterhalter UKOne of the UK’s most experienced foodservice warewasher professionals, Brett Duffy CFSP, has joined Winterhalter UK as Business Development Manager.  His responsibilities include helping key distributors develop their business, especially with their premium customers.

A warewasher man through and through, Brett has extensive experience both in the UK and Australia.  Before taking up his new role he was Commercial Manager for Winterhalter’s sister company, Classeq Ltd, which he joined in July 2012.  Previously he had spent seven years working with both Winterhalter and Classeq in Australia, as National Sales Manager.

Winterhalter Sales Director Andy Salter says, “Brett’s a wizard when it comes to warewashing: not only does he have a comprehensive understanding of the sector, he also takes a fresh approach that will be a great asset in the sales team.”

“Having experience of the Australian market gives me a slightly different angle on things,” says Brett.  “I’m excited about being part of the Winterhalter UK team, it’s a very professional outfit.”

Before working in warewashing Brett was a high-profile chef in Australia.  As exec chef at the Royal Randwick Race Course in Sydney he cooked for the Queen and Prince Philip.
