Stackable, easy to install and running off a 13 amp supply – but that’s only the start of the advantages of the Samsung professional laundry range on show on the Nisbets stand at Hotelympia 2014.
The Samsung Professional washer and dryer are designed to bridge the gap between domestic and large professional machines, with drum volumes of 110 litres and 240 litres respectively. They are ideal for the hospitality sector, for example, small hotels, B&Bs, schools and care homes.
Samsung’s WF431 washers (Nisbets code GD211) feature Eco Bubble technology which reduces energy costs by dissolving the detergent in air and water before the wash cycle begins. The dissolved detergent then penetrates the fabric more quickly, evenly and deeply, enabling operators to wash at lower temperatures and still achieve perfectly clean results. In tests, the machines achieved at 15°C what conventional washers achieve at 40°C. This reduces energy consumption by up to 70%, which significantly reduces costs.
The washers also feature anti-vibration technology (VRT) which keeps the drum perfectly balanced, whatever the load, reducing both vibration and noise, and an Eco Drum Clean programme which ensures the drum remains hygienically clean and odourless, to deliver continued outstanding washing results and to reduce maintenance.
With its DV431 tumble dryer (Nisbets code GD212), Samsung has reduced the energy consumption of tumble drying. The dryer has features such as axial airflow, which directs air through the load from the back to the front – the most efficient way to dry, reducing energy use by around 25% compared to radial airflow systems. The dryer’s RMC (residual moisture control) feature minimises drying time by turning off power as soon as the operator’s desired level of dryness is reached.
Despite their energy-saving features, the Samsung professional laundry models cost up to 60% less than leading competitors’ machines and are backed with a full two year commercial parts and labour warranty as standard.
