The Restaurant Show at Earls Court 2, London

On Tuesday, Alison and Callum hopped on the train to London to check out theThe Restaurant Show
Restaurant Show. Only it wasn’t quite that simple. Driving down the sleepy early morning country roads towards Norwich, we were informed there were major train delays. We hadn’t even had our morning coffee yet. It was difficult news to swallow.

Following an unexpected trip to Cambridge and a pain au chocolat, we eventually made it to Earls Court 2. We first caught up with our client Rational, who were showcasing their rather wonderful SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency. They had a lot of useful things to say about it, but don’t worry, we caught it in all on camera and we will post the video shortly.

Next, we had a wander. There were many densely populated aisles, packed full of anything from fresh seafood, quality meat and cheeses to strange sauces, enticing herbal teas and incredibly fresh ice-cream. With that much free food available, the mind can be become frazzled: so many snacks, so little time.

They had a “Centre Stage” set up with various talks running throughout the day. The whole time we were there it was packed with an enthusiastic audience. A good day for the hospitality sector.

Before we left the show we grabbed two delicious Lebanese wraps. Not an easy decision to make when there’s so much good food everywhere. We weren’t disappointed.

Expect a short video of our adventures at The Restaurant Show soon.
