CESA invites participants to Great Britain pavilion at FHA Singapore, 8-11 April 2014

Grants of £2,500 available for ten UK catering equipment exhibitors

CESA is helping companies exhibit at FHA 2014Catering equipment suppliers and manufacturers looking to export to Asia will find it easier and less expensive to exhibit at the region’s major trade show, Food and Hotel Asia (FHA), Singapore Expo, 8-11 April 2014.  CESA, the Catering Equipment Suppliers Association, is organising the Great Britain Pavilion and UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) is offering grants of £2,500 to companies wishing to exhibit.

There are ten £2,500 grants available, on a first come, first served basis, provided the companies applying meet UKTI criteria.  UKTI has given CESA an additional £10,000 to be used to help UK companies make maximum use of the opportunity afforded by FHA 2014.

FHA 2012 attracted over 60,000 trade visitors from 100 countries.  In 2014 the Show will be bigger than ever: organisers are expecting 64,000+ attendees and there will be 2,800 exhibitors, in an area covering 95,000 square metres through nine halls.

Exhibitors in the CESA group receive an enhanced shell scheme stand and a variety of support services, including networking events, pre-and post-show advice and management of the Great Britain Pavilion.  First time exhibitors can also access advice on trading within the Asian market.

Stand space in the Great Britain Pavilion costs £541 per square metre, including construction, a lockable counter, shelving, carpeting, a name board, stand lighting and power, and a table and chairs.  CESA also offers a range of chargeable extras to meet specific stand requirements.  Exhibitors will be expected to dress and host their stand.

“Participation in the Great Britain Pavilion is open to both CESA members and non-members,” says Nick Oryino, chair of CESA.  “However, CESA members enjoy priority booking and a waiver of the £250 reservation fee.  Space is limited, so interested companies should contact us as soon as possible.”  The final deadline for bookings is 23 December 2013.
