New Cambro Combo Cart™ Plus holding cabinet from FEM
Available from Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM), the new Combo Cart Plus high capacity insulated transportation units are ideal for holding and transporting food at safe temperatures.
Manufactured by Cambro, the Combo Cart Plus units are available in electric and non-electric models. They feature CFC-free polyurethane insulation throughout the body and doors, which maintains temperature to hold food safely for four hours or more. The durable, rust-free, dent-free, one-piece moulded polyethylene exterior ensures the unit remains cool to the touch during operation.
Adjustable internal stainless steel universal rails enable a combination of gastronorm pans, sheet pans, trays and pizza boxes to be loaded in one unit. The Carts can be smoothly manoeuvred using the high performance, non-marking, all-swivel braked casters and break-resistant ergonomic moulded-in handles. They have perimeter bumpers for protection from damage during transportation.
The gasket-free doors have wide paddle latches, maintaining a tight seal for maximum temperature retention and enabling them to be opened one-handed. The cavity temperature can be monitored through simple-to-read power and heat indicators.
The electric Combo Cart Plus is over 50% more energy efficient compared to leading metal carts. As well as all the features of the non-electric cart it has heaters on one or both doors, to keep food safely between 65°C to 71°C for as long as required. It holds food at safe temperatures for 4 hours or more when unplugged. Heat gently circulates from front to back of the unit to maintain an even temperature.
Both Combo Cart Plus units feature a menu pocket on the front that allows for easy product ID with either an index card or wipeable pen. The Combo Cart Plus is available as single (low) or double (tall) units and all models are supplied by FEM with a full one-year warranty.
