FEM launch exciting new products at Hotelympia 2012

At Hotelympia 2012 Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) will launch new products from Alto-Shaam, San Jamar, Sirman and more.

Since FEM’s last exhibition at Hotelympia, the company has added three new brands to its extensive range of commercial catering equipment: Alto-Shaam, San Jamar, and Sirman.

Alto-Shaam Low Temperature Electronic Cook & Hold Oven

FEM is featuring the AS250, a new cook and hold oven from Alto-Shaam which cooks, roasts, re-heats and holds food, maintaining its freshness and minimising shrinkage. Its Halo Heat technology applies a controlled, uniformed heat and monitors temperature and moisture closely. It knows exactly when food is cooked to its required state, switching from cook to hold mode without staff intervention, thus guaranteeing food will not be overcooked or spoilt.

Unlike the larger models in the series, the AS250 is a counter-top model; easily portable with a stackable design. Small cafes and take away stores will benefit from the unit’s compact design as much as they will from its flexible cooking recipes, program options and robust stainless steel construction.

San Jamar Allergen Food Saf-T-Zone System

The new San Jamar Allergen Saf-T-Zone System is specifically designed to avoid cross contamination in response to the problems of food allergy incidents. The kit features a purple cutting board, with a patented Cut-N-Carry® hook, designed for hygienic transport and storage. The board’s co-polymer material is able to withstand the high temperatures of commercial washing without damage. The kit also includes purple-handled, 12-inch stainless steel tongs and a commercial-grade chef’s knife. It is completed with a high-temperature, angled nylon turner, and all these tools securely snap into a strong purple case, making it easy to find in busy kitchen environments.

Sirman Food Preparation Equipment

Sirman’s range of high quality food preparation equipment includes meat slicers, mincers, food processors, dough mixers and potato slicers. The Palladio, Sirman’s smallest heavy-duty meat slicer, has a rounded design with no sharp edges or visible screws for operator safety. It comes in two sizes, the Palladio 300 and the Palladio 350, with 300mm and 350mm blades respectively. Sirman’s compact mincers, such as the TC8 Vegas, have anodised aluminium bodies. Their light weight and sturdy side handles make them easy to move around. All models are well ventilated, which combined with their reliable motors means they can run for long periods continuously.

FEM will also show a wide range of other new products from its portfolio of leading catering equipment brands, including new bright coloured and insulated display bowls from Vollrath and Cambro’s innovative glass washer rack. The latter increases wash capacity by up to 20%. Also on display will be Manitowoc’s new energy saving ice-makers and Hamilton Beach’s latest commercial blenders.
