Twenty Five Clean Bottles…

Classeq Eau de Vie launches bottle cleaning rack for use in glasswashers

Eau de Vie Rack and Bottles

A problem with most restaurants using mains water bottling systems is cleaning the bottles between use.  Now Eau de Vie, the premium brand, on-site chilled filtered water system, has launched a bottle-cleaning rack designed to work in a standard glass washer.  Classeq, which markets Eau de Vie in the UK, says it is a simple idea that will help enhance hygiene in the increasing number of outlets offering on-site, filtered mains water as an alternative to bottled mineral water.

The rack has been designed by Winterhalter, the leading warewasher manufacturer, to clean up to twenty five Eau de Vie bottles at a time.  The bottles are held upside down so the glasswasher’s cleaning programme, combining sprayed water, steam and condensation, sanitises them effectively.

The rack measures 500x500mm and will fit most standard glasswashers.  However, it is tailored for use with the Winterhalter UC Series of undercounter units, which has an elliptic wash-arm action that produces a more efficient wash ‘field’.

Eau de Vie system passes mains water through a special filter, called SilverSix, to remove the impurities that adversely affect its flavour and smell.  The filtered water is then chilled and bottled to produce fresh drinking water in both still and sparkling variants.  Classeq offers a variety of Eau de Vie systems, with capacities from 45 to 300+ litres of water per hour.

“The bottle cleaning rack is such a practical idea and, because staff are familiar with glasswashers, it’s very easy for Eau de Vie users to introduce it into their work routine,” says Nick Burridge of Classeq.  “It tackles a hygiene issue effectively and simply.”

Eau de Vie from Classeq is designed to offer a ‘complete package’ on-site bottled water system for caterers.  This includes pre- and after-sales support, from site-survey to commissioning, staff training and on-going maintenance.  Systems is available to rent or buy.

Classeq is part of the Winterhalter UK group.  For information on the Eau de Vie range, including details of your nearest stockist, call 0844 225 9249 see www.eaudevie.com  or email feedback@classeq.co.uk
