Littler Sir Eco ….

Classeq launches new, compact, energy-saving Eco1 glasswasher

Classeq’s new Eco1 is designed to deliver the most compact, most water- and energy-efficient budget-priced glass washer on the market.  The British manufacturer has reduced the exterior dimensions without compromising on performance or capacity: the new Eco1 still washes up to 12 pint glasses, sparkling clean, in just two minutes.  And it uses less water and less energy to do it.

“We get a lot of requests from bars for smaller, more compact glasswashers – because pressure on backbar space is enormous,” says Nick Burridge of Classeq.  “We’ve designed the new Eco1 to meet their needs.  At the same time, by cutting consumption of water and power, it also reduces running costs.”

The new Eco1 is about 10% shorter and narrower than its predecessor.  It also takes up less room when the door is open – 809mm instead of 860mm, while the door opening height is down from 330mm to 275mm.  The dimensions are 410mm (wide) by 512mm (deep, door closed) by 640-660mm (high).  The old Eco measured 450mm x 535mm x 740-760mm.

The new Eco’s wash tank has been reduced from 10 litres to 5.5 litres and water consumption per cycle is now just 2.75 litres, a reduction of over 15%.  This not only means it consumes less water, it also means it needs less energy for heating.

Standard features include built in detergent and rinse aid dispensers and a double-skinned door.  The Eco accepts 350mm x 350mm racks.
