Charlie Sheen in Song

We thought everyone had seen the Charlie Sheen “Bi-Winning” music video. Apparently not. It appeared during the massive coverage of the drug-fuelled star some months ago. It’s compiled using clips of various recent Sheen interviews, with golden quotes such as, “if I am on a drug, it’s called Charlie Sheen”, and his now infamous response to accusations that he may be bi-polar: “I’m bi-winning”. It’s a great interview, but it’s an even better pop song.

“Songify this” are, from what we gather, a couple of guys that create songs from news footage, interviews, whatever, and run them through some kind of auto-tune processor. The result? The most absurdly hilarious two minute pop videos. First there was, “Hide your Kids, Hide your Wife”, a tune made using clips from a Texan news station report of a flat break-in. But it’s all about the Sheen. “I’m a total fricking rock-star from Mars … borrow my brain you’d be like, ‘Dude, can’t handle it’”. This interview was destined to be a song, and what a song it is!  If you don’t know what on earth we’re talking about, watch it. Even if you do, watch it again. It’s had all of us at the Publicity Works in stitches.
