Prisma sorting box from Bumblebee Toys encourages child development through play
Young children explore the world about them through play. At this stage, toys are an important tool to aid development. The Prisma sorting box from online toy company Bumblebee Toys has been designed to encourage children to discover colour and shape and build manual dexterity.
Crafted from sustainably managed wood, this large triangular toy is more than just a simple sorting box. On one side there are brightly coloured cogs to turn round, on another, wooden beads to count, spin and move along and the third side is devoted to the shape sorting activity. Four brightly coloured wooden blocks can be posted through different sized holes or pushed through the elasticated top.
The sturdy sorting box measures 14cm high by 20cm wide and can even double as a little seat if turned upside down. The elasticated top keeps the wooden blocks together for storage and little hands can easily reach inside to retrieve them when they want to play.
Wood is a wonderful material for children’s toys. It can be safely sucked or chewed and will not shatter. Selecta only uses environmentally-friendly and totally safe paints and lacquers which comply with EN71ff. The strong, vibrant colours are scratch resistant and can withstand dribble and saliva.
The Prisma sorting box is available from Bumblebee Toys website www.bumblebeetoys.co.uk for £23.99 excluding delivery.
