Is Your Glasswasher On Side For The World Cup?

Classeq glasswashers fly the British flag during World Cup fever … and beyond

Classeq glasswashers fly the British flag When the World Cup kicks off in June Britain will become a hub of patriotic fervour, especially if England do well in their initial group matches. But whatever happens pubs and clubs are bound to experience an upsurge in customers, as fans flock in to watch the matches on big screens. Drinks sales should rocket and publicans are set to reap the benefits.

But they need to be prepared, as drink consumption goes up so does the number of glasses passing over the bar to be washed and refilled to keep customers happy. Now is the time to check the glasswasher – is it up to the job? Can it cope with the increased demand or will it succumb to injury before the final whistle blows?

Classeq machines are ideal for pubs wanting to upgrade their glasswashing capacity at an affordable cost and at short notice. And for bar owners wanting to take their patriotism that little bit further, all Classeq glasswashers are one hundred per cent British, being manufactured at Classeq’s purpose-built factory at Hixon near Stafford.

In order to get glasswashers up and running with the least disruption, Classeq’s new Duo 3 models now have the option of an integral water softener so no additional external piping is needed. These offer savings in both space and overall capital outlay. The new integral water softeners automatically regenerate themselves and a control panel light alerts operators when they need to be refilled with salt.

The Duo 3 has a 500mm square basket that can take 25 pint glasses – so its two minute wash cycle means it can cope with 750 glasses per hour. It’s fitted with double skinned insulation throughout as standard, which makes for a quieter and cooler wash area.

In common with all Classeq machines the Duo 3 has a low capacity wash tank for faster heat up times and lower energy consumption. It is supplied complete with drain pump, rinse booster pump and type ‘A’ air gap as standard.
