Classeq shows range of British-built dishwashers and glasswashers at Hotelympia 2010 – new integral water softeners save space
London ExCeL, Feb 28 – March 4 2010
British-built goods are an ethical and cost-effective option in today’s society where carbon footprint, product miles and sustainability are the watchwords. On Stand N1915 Classeq will be showing its Eco, Duo and Hydro range of dishwashers and glasswashers all of which are built in the UK at its factory at Hixon, near Stafford. Because these machines are built here on the doorstep, transportation expenses are slashed and savings can be passed on to the customer, making Classeq machines extremely cost-effective solutions for pubs, clubs, restaurants and schools etc too.
The Duo 3, Duo 750, H857 and H957 models now have the option of an integral water softener cutting out all the problems involved with siting and sourcing external water softeners. These offer customers savings in both space and overall capital outlay and also mean installation is very straightforward – no additional external piping is needed. The new integral water softeners automatically regenerate themselves and a control panel light alerts operators when they need to be refilled with salt.
Classeq’s machines are reliable, durable and simple to use. Integral chemical dispensers administer exactly the correct amount of chemicals to get sparkling clean results each wash with no wastage or over-use. All the operator needs to do is ensure there are chemicals in the bottles, the machine does the rest. Because they never use more chemicals than they need to, the machines are not only more economical to run but they are kinder to the environment as well.
The front-loading Eco glasswashers are popular as back-bar, under-counter options. They are fully automatic with double skinned doors that are cool to the touch and cut down on noise. There are three models in the range with rack sizes varying from 12 to 25 pint glasses. With a wash rate of 30 racks per hour they are ideal for busy bars, nightclubs and restaurants.
The Duo range of front-loading glasswashers and dishwashers has all the features of the Eco range but also has fully insulated cabinets, WRAS-approved type A air gaps, rinse booster pumps and drain pumps with self-cleaning programmes.
The Hydro range of pass through dishwashers can process up to forty 500 x 500mm racks, or around 720 dinner plates, every hour. For flexibility of installation they can be fitted ‘in-line’ or around a corner. Both single and three-phase models are available and they measure 630mm wide by 720mm deep by 1520mm high with the hood closed, and 1940mm high with the hood open.
For economy of operation all models have a filter system to keep the wash-water clearer for longer. The control panel is clear and unambiguous making staff training easier and cutting down on mistakes during operation resulting in clean plates with every load.
