A centrifugal action and automatic pulp ejection system mean it can be used continually, without clogging, to speed up juice production. A powerful 1.3kW motor drives both the stainless steel, 165mm, interchangeable grating disc and the centrifugal separator basket.
To accommodate large chunks of fruit and vegetables the Santos juicer has a 68mm wide circular feeding hole while a food-safe pusher protects the operator’s fingers. With a stylish, wipe clean stainless steel bowl and base, and measuring 580mm x 320mm x 480mm, it looks attractive next to a fruit display for ‘on-show’ countertop operation. The micro-perforated, stainless steel centrifugal basket can be taken out, and along with other removable parts, can be put in a dishwasher or easily cleaned with hot soapy water.
For safety the motor cuts out when the housing is opened and a patented locking-unlocking system further prevents accidents. The Santos juicer is fitted with a standard electrical plug and Uropa supplies the juicer with a full two-year, back to base parts and labour warranty.
