Stand 405, NEC Birmingham, 19 – 21 January 2009
The new Rational SelfCooking Center takes up less space, has lower running costs, needs less looking after and delivers even better results than ever before. At Hospitality 2009 chefs will be putting the new machine through its paces on Stand 405 in Rational’s popular cooking theatre.
The SelfCooking Center has always delivered the best quality results. The demonstrations at Hospitality will underline this, and show how easy the machine is to use: the chef simply tells the unit what’s being cooked (roast chicken, soufflé, bread or whatever) and pushes the button. The SelfCooking Center takes over the process, selecting the best way to cook the specified recipe. Even untrained staff can cook chef’s signature dish, perfectly.
The latest models take combi technology to a new level of ease of use, reliability and cooking results – thanks to Rational’s new CareControl technology.
“The new SelfCooking Center with CareControl gives more to the chef than any other combi,” says Vic Brown of Rational. “More time, more savings, more energy efficiency and the best possible results.”
CareControl starts by monitoring the cooking and telling staff when to clean the unit. All they have to do is pop in the cleaning tablets and select the cleaning programme. The unit then cleans and cares for itself, getting rid not only of dirt but also limescale.
Because the unit takes care of limescale build-up, there’s no need for a water filter and no need to descale the combi. That saves time, space (typically a water filter is about the size of a tower PC) and money: descaling the combi and looking after water filters can cost hundreds of pounds a year and are the two main causes of service call-outs.
Plus, because there is no scale build up, the unit always operates to maximum efficiency.
CareControl ensures the SelfCooking Center’s results are even better than before, because the steam generated by the combi is always absolutely fresh, with no limescale contaminants – so the food produced is always perfect.Visitors to the Rational stand will be able to taste the results for themselves as live cooking demonstrations will be going on throughout the day, with breakfast, mid-morning snacks, lunches and afternoon cakes.
