These compact icemakers are designed to be space-saving while offering large storage capacities and ease of maintenance. They are especially suitable for applications where previously an ice machine was not considered a viable option.
Manufactured from high quality, durable stainless steel, the Kastel icemakers use a spray system to produce clear, hard, full ice cubes. The ice makers have easily removable external panels to make access simple for routine maintenance and services. A major feature of the machines is that the external air filter can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. Because this is very easy to do, it gets done regularly – prolonging the life of the filter and ensuring it is operating at peak efficiency.
Electronic controls ensure the machines are simple to use and all models are backed by Apuro’s one year on-site warranty. Altogether there are five models in the icemaker range. The smallest, the 22/5, measures only 350 x 450 x 575mm and can fit on a countertop. This icemaker has a production capacity of 22 kg in 24 hours and a storage capacity of 5kg. The largest, the 75/40, has a production of 75 kg of ice in 24 hours, a storage capacity of 40 kg and measures 740 x 605 x 915mm.
